I've heard about some kind of HDD raw copy tool, that apparently just mirrors the data without caring what it is. Like a sector by sector copy of the bits. I could wait for the new SSD, then use something like that to mirror the old M.2 to the new SSD, then to the new M.2. Again though, I'm not sure what tools to use or steps to take.
