I ordered a Daniel Defense Omega rail from one of the trusted vendors on this site. I have tried to get in contact with them, but so far no response (ok, I'm impatient/wanting to know from the gurus).Daniel Defense counterfeit products may appear to be identical to the original with the appropriate Daniel Defense branding, patent numbers and registered trademark. However, Many of these counterfeit products do not fit properly on the standard AR-15 platform rifle and/or on standard Picatinny rails -- resulting in improper consumer .
The Daniel Defense Omega rail was developed as a high quality, light weight, two piece Free Floating (FF) rail that would require no modification to the weapon. The current market of rail systems is close to saturation in my opinion, and because of that, its nice to see something new and different.
